Owen,
What are the approximate prices? Do you plan to ship together with "The Wire AMP" kits? Cheers, Nic |

Hi Guys,
I'll update the list a little later in the day to reflect those changes. NicMac: Pricing details are listed here: "The Wire" Ultra-High Performance Headphone Amplifier - PCB's I will definitely be combining orders between the amp and these headphone kits, as it will save a great deal of shipping. I'll get better prices on shipping soon. Cheers, Owen |

Hi Owen,
>>I'm going to be stuck with 20 extra BAL-SE boards. No way! I recall a wish for "a bridged version using a pair of LME49600 per channel, each driven by a single LME49990. . [into] . . headphones setup for bridged output". It would seem that a pair of BAL-SE boards, each following one TP Opus running in dual differential mode, would deliver on that wish. Over kill? Possibly :-) Please add two BAL-SE (pcb only) to my order. 'gardz, Dick |

owen, is it safe to use 21VAC CT toroid in the wire? can we just simply change the supply capacitors to higher voltage rating to accommodate this?

Hi,
I will take 1 BAL-SE kit + 1 PSU Kit out, if that is possible. Sorry for the mess. All in all remains: 1x SE-SE Kit 1x BAL-BAL Kit 1x SE-SE pcb 1x BAL-BAL pcb 4x PSU Kit (2 for headamp + 2 for power amp) Thanks! Last edited by CaféNoir; 27th September 2011 at 01:25 PM. |

Owen,
I'm going to have to back out on both the Headphone, PSU and Amp board/Kits. I hope this isn't an inconvenience for you. It looks like you have others lining up for them anyway. I've got too many unfinished projects already, and am feeling guilty about them..
