Default Repair of Panasonic RP-HC500 headphone

We have a dead RP-HC500 ANC headphone. The power LED does not illuminate which leads me to suspect a power problem. Naturally, Panasonic denies the existence of a repair manual. Does anyone have any experience in this domain?
