Default Need help with this!!!

Ok so here is the thing. I'm DJ and my ears are little bit damaged so i need something to keep my ears safe and also help me with better mixing so i came to conclusion to make a headphone equalizer/crossover and amp in one so i found these projects
3 Band Graphic Equalizer Circuit

and

10 LED VU Meter Project by LM3915 and LM324

It's not a problem to assemble all the things but the only thing i curious about all of this will i need some kind of headphone amp and will all of these things work together.
Important thing is that most of DJ headphones wary between 24 and 56 ohms.

Thanks for help!

Feed the output of your Equaliser into a headphone amplifier...
see this (DiyAudio) forum, this section
or see: HeadWize Library - Projects
or see: Headphone Amplifier
or see: ESP Projects Pages - DIY Audio and Electronics

(I have no experience with the VU meter, so can not help with that).
