No, the Hexfets does not suffer here...
All the circuits parameters had been calculated to stay within their maximum ratings. So even if we put into the amplifier the widest signal, capable to saturate the amplifier, and we short its output, there will not be any damage. Out of curiosity, the amplifier is able to drive even a short circuit, with few milliohms of resistance: even when the relay is shorted, you may listen to something, of course the level is low, but it seems to be undistorted.
