The big 5.1uf solen and the njm4556 are probably only there to attract people looking for a clone of the grado RA-1.

in any event I hate to see the wasted effort in putting everything else together and then not spending $2 to output buffer/Jung style multiloop with enough current output to really drive Grados or K701

and layout could be a little better - why put line rectifier up against amp cricutry in such a (relatively) big box?

it is not a bad headphone amplifier
think it will work well

Good the schematic is published .. for do this Your Self (if not buy)
Most members could put together a version of this
... even try to make it better
