I've been looking at headphone amplifier designs, and the sheer number of them are simply staggering. After shuffling through quite a few, I've come to a few conclusions:
1. Crossfeed would be very nice. Ideally, adjustable crossfeed. 2. Using a TLE2024 or third channel to produce a proper ground is much better than using the point between two 9v batteries or two resistors. 3. 18V is approximately the right voltage. (Hopefully I can get 5 lithium-ion cells.) 4. Power consumption should be well below 100mA to keep battery life from sucking. Any recommendations? |
