Options on Great Sounding DIY Tube Headphone Amp

Hi All,

I'm interested in building a tube headphone amps for my 72ohm impedance Sony SA5000. It itself is a good headphone, but I have a plan to get sony qualia, which is a really high-end headphone ( several K$) , so I want something over the top, great sounding amp, preferably class A. An hybrid is also an option for me.

Could people make some suggestion and schematics? Are the Aikkido variations pretty much only option for very good sounding tube headphone amp?

Any reason for planning to match DIY amp to several K$ qualia?
Getting a several K$ amp for qualia might be a natural choice.

Well, I don't have a qualia yet, only SA5000. Also I think a DIY amp with well designed circuit carefully implemented, can sound as good as quite expensive amps.
