This is my first post.I have been reading the forums for quite sometime now.Being new to electronics I have found the information here to be invaluable.
The attachments to this post contain my version of the YAHA.It is a portable LiIon cell powered YAHA consisting of 2 subminiature pentodes connected as triodes followed by a dual opamp buffer. It will charge or run off of any usb port. I built this to run from my laptop or mount my mp3 player to take on walks.The battery lasts about 20 hrs with 60ohm headphones,or around 15 hrs for 30ohm headphones. The parts cost under $100.00. I am very pleased with the sound, but I'm sure there's room for improvement.
