Default Dual mono PSU for headphone amp ?

Hey all.

I posted this question over on another forum, but perhaps here is more appropriate ...

Anyway, a while ago I built a DoZ headphone amp (Rod Elliot's P70), and currently have a "sort of" dual mono PSU. I have 1 transformer, 1 rectifier, but 2 capacitor banks (1 CRC filter per channel). Being a single ended design, both psu's are 0V - +35V.

Now, if it were a speaker amp, the speaker returns will be wired directly to the 0V points on each channels respective PSU, but being a headphone amp, there is only 1 return point. Therefore, I've currently connected the 0V points of PSU together (essentially forming a +35 - 0 - +35V supply), forming a star ground, and the headphone return goes there (this point then goes to the chassis via a 10ohm resistor).

I want to rework this PSU to have a bridge per channel (but still one transformer... for now), but am wondering if I should still tie the 0V lines together, or if there's a better place to stick the headphone return ?
(the amp pcb only has a +output, there's no "return" on board)
