Hi,
I guess you are looking for an SE transformer... Jack Elliano at Electraprint will wind you one (I am quoting dsavitsk here... I am currently using Hammond 119DA line matching transformers in my Aikido parafeed headphone amp. They really surprised me in how good they sound for the money. |

I'll second the recommendation for electra-print as I have a pair of custom designed 5K:32 (or 8) output transformers in my headphone amplifier - this is a good choice for the 5842 and 5687 as well.

I know the HAMMOND 119DA is also used in the Mapletree audio EAR+ HD series.
Does anyone know where can I buy the 119DAs? |

The Sowter seems to have a good reputation. It is for AC coupled only, so for parallel feed.
As for single-ended see Figure 3 on this page... http://headwize.com/projects/showfil...ciuff4_prj.htm : ) |

Some user say about Lundahl: high frequency is good, but low frequency is so so.

I research Lundahl web, there are 2 parts, LL1630 and LL1680.
How are their different? Which is better for 5842 or 6SN7 ? http://www.lundahl.se/pdfs/datash/1630.pdf http://www.lundahl.se/pdfs/datash/1680.pdf |
