I havn't tried the others on AMB's site
I used BC550/560's for input's, easily available locally and cheap per 25's to match (besides i already had heaps of them)
The 2sk/2sj's are not easy to find out here let alone matching them...

I didn't want a opamp based headphone amp.
headphones are low enough power requirememts not to worry about class A waste.
