I feel honored to announce to this August body, The Friends of Nanook, that the Pacific Northwest Audio Society will once again be sponsoring, what we believe to be the finest diy speaker contest in the World! This preliminary announcement is the first public statement and hopefully will give each of you enough time to prepare for the event. The actual date hasn't been determined, as we hope to schedule the event at such a time as there will be no conflict with the only other event that can be said to be at a par with the contest, namely the Van Isle Diy Fest.
I will be contacting Dave within the next few days to see what his time frame consists of, and to begin with the initial planning.

I've been exchanging e-mails with Dave and he's looking at August 21th as a tentative date for the Van Ilse DIY Fest up on "The Mountain." Therefore "The Puget Sound! DIY Speaker Contest" has been scheduled for August 28th. All this may be subject to change, but hopefully we've avoided possible schedule conflicts.
Yes, once again the "Friends of Nanook" have received the first posting.

Well guys, it's official. After 3+ months and four emails with vocal followup, the "Official" date will be the 28th of August!
