This was nessessary so that models and pricing can be discussed. Previous group buy organizers had trouble with name brand microphone companies and / or the microphone vendor because pricing was dissussed in public forums such as this. The organizers of this new group buy have either experienced these problems themselves or have followed the saga of others. The principle organizer of this group buy (not me, I'm just the bucket boy on this) has a very good relationship with the vendor so I have every reason to beleive this group buy will be a success.
