Default Transformer GB reviced:

I have made changes to the former GB transformer invitation. Transformer VA-ratings has been raised and two taps has been added. This changes was made to suit more of you planning to build amps for power outputs from 2x50W (or 1x100) class-A up to 3-400W class AB (type Leach or Gregg Ball)

Transformer will be custom made by Avel Lindberg (same company who made the former Krell-transformers).

Transformer specification (for 600VA):

prim: 2 x 115V

Sec 1: 38V or 45V @ 7.8A rms or 6.3A rms
Sec 2: 38V or 45V @ 7.8A rms or 6.3A rms (bifilar wound with Sec 1)

Sec 3: 12V @ 1.2A (for loudspeaker protection circuits/relay/lamps etc....)

Total output power of > 600VA (type: low flux density)
The transformer will be vacuum-potted in a mild steel-can painted black
Low Flux Density for minimum noise output (specified to be "dead silent" at full power output)
Flexible leads (300mm) 180 degrees between prim and sec. leads. Leads coming out from underside of transformer (potted end)
Mounting with a single M8 x 75 mm threaded bolt. Transformer dimensions H=100mm, Outer Diameter=149

Pricing so far shows

1-4pcs: 122.00
5-9pcs: 109.80
10-29: 98.95

Now, I have order for at least 5pcs including my self so you start at a price of 109.80

Lead time when order is placed/payed: ca 14 days

NOT included in the price is the local VAT/MVA/MOMS, and shipping/handling

If any interests please PM/e-mail me. (I have a PayPal account)
