Default ATI chassis

Heya

I'm new here and don't really know the whole process of organising a group-buy, but I am trying to put together a few people to get some reasonably-priced chassis.

Here's the thread:

Where to get a chassis in Canada or US?

Lemme' know if anyone has any questions. Here's a pic of the 645-TH:

Hey, rjkdivin

Oops, it's turned on now. Can anyone tell me how to enable my private messaging as well?

We've got 6 out of 7 chassis spoken for then. I'm still waiting to hear back about reducing the exorbitant shipping fees I was quoted.

Just in case anyone hasn't checked the other thread for this info:

As it stands, we can get them express shipped (a week, or so) for $98.50USD or $113CAD. It will cost me about $20USD to re-ship them to almost anywhere in the US. I will use actual shipping costs + packaging. I will not charge anything for my time/gas/whatever...

The total cost, even with re-shipping, will still be much lower than it would have cost to get the enclosures with 4-6 week shipping.

Red face Just as well you can't see me dribbling

I sooooooooooooooo. wish i could get my hands on something like that. But I've never seen anything as good as that case in New zealand. What is the name of the company? And do they have a web site i could have a look at. I don't think I'll ever be able to afford to buy them, the exchange rate it just too dam high, but i'd sure like to check them out.

Brett

Yeah, I think they're just beautiful cases - and in a clean, simple way. Here's their site:

http://www.atiresearch-anodized.com/

I spoke with ATI again and they can't reduce shipping. They are 50KM from a DHL depot, so they have to use the local postal system.

They also told me that the power switch is in a fixed location (as pictured).

Is everyone okay with adding 3% and sending money to me via PayPal (verified account). I would then remit payment to ATI via bank transfer. I would like to receive funds in USD so that we don't get shafted by PayPal's gratuitous exchange rates; especially considering ATI accepts payments in USD.

Not sure how these group-buys work; is there a standard procedure?

We just need 1 more, guys!
