btw-gents,I urge you to visit www.hornet.hr and see Miroslav's version of Hedlund horn;

for even more info-go to www.vt52.com and look for original Ian (?) Hedlund plans ;
maybe,just maybe that will help ya all in choosing-which Lowther driver you need....

Great speakers Choky, never saw those Iskra before, nice pics, thanks. Where are those Iskra built?

Back to Topic:

What calls my attention is that DX55 does not have the lipped whizzers as on the DX3/4.

Steen,

Those bare bottom DX3 look nice and attractive

one time-when I went to one guy's place with bare rubber Iskra,and I put it instead of one of his preciouss A Capela twoways (5" bass in tower stand augmented bass reflex) ,he just flushed how Iskra,even without box "sounds interesting in mid range,comparing with my spks...) .
and A Capella where muucho moooney!

Iskra is Iskra Slovenia,one hell of a factory with ancient roots and knowledge ......

Yes, they seem like a pretty good choice. They are good in backloaded horns, and also in MLTL's. Gives you the possibilty to try a few different boxes. Cost/performance seems attractive
Choky, those Iskra's look pretty cool

Default Last Chance

We are going to close this out. I have contacted those who were listed as wanting something. If anybody else wants in let me know by Saturday. An order will be placed at the end of the day Saturday for these GB, and that is the end.

A few people contacted me off this forum, and so we have the minimum 5 pairs of drivers allowing a 15% discount.
