The silver flutes were easily the heaviest item in the group buy, and that's why the shipping was so much.

For Vifa in Melbourne you could try:

Yeah, i've spoken to a few Vifa dealers in Aus (and bought of one), and they all seem to be within 5% of each other in terms of pricing, and don't really budge unless you buy in bulk.

The Silverflutes cought my eye due to price and the fact they were 4ohm (advantage but not necessity), and the fact that they might be a little different (hopefully decent still). Unfortunately shipping does make it difficult. I guess when ur comparing 6.5" drivers to 3" drivers, there will always be a weight difference.

Ahh well.

I justed checked the part numbers and prices agaist what I pay. There not bad for retail, but seem to be about 20% higher than what I pay...
