Interest in GB for 1.5kVA toroids from Plitron

I need 2 Toroids with 65-0-65 secs and 1.25 to 1.5kVA capacity. Plitron does not have that in stock and it a custom order with Min Qty of 5 units.

We can order thermal breakers or other needs but This trafo will give dual 90vdc supplies.

What would the unit cost be for a minimum order?

I have written to Plitron so I am not sure. Remember this is a custom order, typically they do not make 65-0-65 secs.

The standard 1.5kVA Plitrons are about US$155 or so plus shipping.

I am not surprized, for $150 you can get a decent power amp. ;-)

Hello Homer, I order custom transformers from Plitron all the time. They usually do not have a problem with single unit orders, but there is a 50% surcharge. If the transformer has been ordered before in same configuration then they usually wave the surcharge. Mind you I have not ordered from them in several months and they have had some price changes since my last order. I have been a customer of thiers for years and that may have something to do with the kind of service I get.
