Al,
I'd like something 150mm high, 300mm length, and a C/W of about 0.2 to 0.3. And the base plate should be minimum 8 mm \Jens |

Are there more interesting shapes to choose from? A site to look at the different heatsinks.
Something like this? |

No website, just a paper catalogue. I want to keep this one simple, this time around, but if it goes well we might give another GB a go later on.

Guy's,
I'm currently in contact with Seifert in Germany. The good thing is that they cut their heatsinks themselves and that means that it does not matter if various people would like different length from the same profile. The prise typically is per Kilo and one or more additional cuts. Anodising is done after the cutting if required. Have a look at: http://www.seifert-electronic.de/ima...cs/kl-273d.gif http://www.seifert-electronic.de/ima...cs/kl-273z.gif |

What sort of price does that give for an equivalent piece?
:edit: Well, looks like the European buy is covered. That makes things a little simpler to organise for me. ![]() I would still be interested in prices, to see if they are competitive, (has to include shipping to the UK though!)
