Official GB for DSD DAC Signalyst DSCv2

Due to medical prescriptions, I can’t longer take part in DSC production for GB. Since I feel responsibility for current orders, I’ve made a decision to attract an additional specialist who will be responsible for the production - HiddenPilot (Alexey Galkin). He actively participated in the development of new versions 2.5.2 and 2.6.2. I’ve tested several of his boards and confirm that they meet my quality standards.
The last 10 DSC2.5.2 boards from me will be available for shipment in 5 - 8 working days. If someone wants to receive only them, pls specify it when you receive a payments request from Vit123.
Alexey will be ready to ship orders in 1-2 days.
Vi123, as before, will continue to lead the GB and provide technical support.

Hi, Francisco.
Your order is added. All pins for both configuration are included (not soldered) by default.
Only spacers are not included (4 for Amanero and 4 for DSC main and output board).

I will clarify whether we have a surplus of output boads and PM you. If yes - it will be possible.

Sorry to hear about this Pavel, hope that treatment works well and you are back on your feet soon.

DIY Newbie, so apology in advance asking basic questions:

  • I had purchased 2 TPS7A4700 from Ale (mravlca) which are currently configured for 5v. Can I use them as the rectifier bridge or do I need to get one with 12v? Do I need 1 or 2?

  • Planning to order two of the Triad Transformer, any recommendation for a better one?
  • Anyone using Pi 3 to pull the I2S via Kali Reclocker or another I2S to see if the DSD stream from HQPlayer

If the question is not appropriate for the thread or not relevant please let me know and I will delete.

TIA

You can use 5V TPS7A4700 from mravica as a power supply for DSC. Just disable internal DSC's LDO (page 3 in User Guide) No need in 12V.
We can prerare your DSC for external 5V power supply before shipment, if you want.
It's possible to use one 5V TPS7A4700 for powering 2 channels of DSC, but I think it would be better to power each channel separately.
My recommendation - 2 TPS7A4700 5V (don't forget disable internal DSC's LDO)

Anyone using Pi 3 to pull the I2S via Kali Reclocker or another I2S to see if the DSD stream from HQPlayer[/list]
As I know:
1. Kali Reclocker does not support Native DSD over I2S.
2. Pi 3 supports DSD only in DoP, not Native.

There are two options for DSD Native over I2S with BeagleBone Black + miero Botic driver (up to DSD512) :
1. twistedpearaudio - Cronus + Rhea + Hermes
2. iancanada McFIFO + McDualXO + Crystek CCHD-957 (default clocks in McDualXO is just for testing).

I've just bought the second option and will try it.

Maybe someone will give additional information - I'm very interested too.
