I think they use the higher permeability cores from China these days so will probably require a dc trap but still a rather cheap tapped 500va trannie -

I don't need another one so, unfortunately, won't be joining your 'merry band' for one, but it looks a bit of a bargain - maybe put it up on SNA?

I'm going to order a couple of the IXYS FRED bridges - VBE26-06N7 - 26A, 800v, about U$21 ea, plus the postage & handling (?) - do you want any?
