In the "terms and conditions", Profusion writes:

"Prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged on any supplies to a UK address at the rate current at the time of despatch. For shipments to another EC member state, VAT will not be charged, providing an EC VAT number is supplied by the consignee of the Goods at the time of ordering. Supplies to a non EC member state will be zero rated for VAT purposes in accordance with Customs/Excise Notice 703."

Therefore the prices are exclusive of VAT but if you live outside UK and you can provide a VAT number (?!) they will not apply VAT .. on the contrary, they will do.
At least, as far as I can understand

At this moment the Renesas sj162/sk1058 cost 4,41 Euro/piece with VAT included
Profusion prices for the ECX10N20 / 3,75 Euro , ECX10P20/ 4,52 Euro without VAT

I've increased my required units to 4 per type.
I'd prefer the Profusion Mos, just to test new devices and partly because of the small price difference, but the Renesas ones would be good as well.
