Hello Andrew, would you be able to provide a stuffing guide, parts list, and schematic that is printable for the group buy?

Regards

Anthony

P.S. Has the newest family member arrived? If so, how is everyone doing?

Of course, if someone cares to give me an email to send it to, I'll forward one for distribution.

Thanks for asking, yes I have another boy, 7lb 6oz, born last Sunday at 13:40. He was born within 15 mins of arriving at the hospital, which made for an interesting car journey .

Mum and baby are fine and he even sleeps pretty well at night, which is a very pleasant change from my 5 year old son Lewis when he was that young!

Andy.

Andrew,

My warmest congratulations!

I have two girls, now 16/18. A great joy, particularly when they were born........

Cheers,

Hugh

Andy,

It would probably be best if the distribution volunteers each are given a copy to pass on through myself if you prefer.

Our second child was a lot easier than the first I hope that you have that luck.

Members please have a look at the wiki page (Volanteers please)

Andy, congratulations on your second child I myself have two small boys.

I was wondering if there is a time frame for delivery of the boards? I just received an email from Aos that he has his regulator boards back in stock. Now his price is not as attractive, and I doubt he put in the development time that Andy did, but they are a readily available source. I do also have one original pair of the Jung/Didden boards (as well as the Layo1 files from Jan, but I couldn't get the program to work ) I have a dac project that I want to start upgrading soon.

Cheers,
Ron

Ron,

I have placed a deadline of the 21st march for order placement on the wiki page (maybe andy could give you an indication of lead time).

Anthony (Coulomb) has clarified by email that he will be dealing with the Canada and USA deliveries.

However we require a further volunteer for the other destinations (see wiki).

Default Lead time

Mark,

Standard lead time is 15 working days (3 working weeks) from point of order, although the PCB house seem to be busy at present, since my last order is overdue...

I just need to check that they haven't delivered to my work address before expediting, I'm at home at present.

Depending on my own personal funds situation at the time, will have a slight impact on when I actually place the order, so I would have thought 20 working days would cover it.

Andy.

P.S. I'll try and stock check the ZA's today.

Default ZA's

I've had a count up today, I don't have sufficient stock of ZA's to satisfy everyone, or even provide full sets for a regulator, but what I have listed below is available, my guess would be a first-come, first-served basis would be reasonable, if that information is available?

The ZA prices are unique to this buy, since I cannot purchase them at these prices any more (they result from a huge buy I did some time back!). I don't wish, for the purposes of this group buy, to get involved in sourcing the additional values, but anything helps, I hope. The other values are generally available: -

I have the following quantities / values: -

250off 100u, 35V ZA's - these are used in the input and output of the reg (2 per PCB) although they will fit in the feedback / ref filter network too (normally 25V cap here). Current prices for these in >100's is £1.16, I can do them for £0.50 ea.

140off 100u, 10V ZA's - these are the Zener bypass (1 per PCB), Current prices for these in >100's is £0.48, I can do them for £0.25ea.

150off 47u, 35V ZA's - these are the adj pin bypass for the pre-reg (1 per PCB). Current prices for these in >100's is £0.58, I can do these at £0.25 ea.

80off 22u, 35V ZA's - these are the op-amp bypass cap. Current prices are £0.52, I can do these for £0.25 ea.

Hope this helps a bit.

Andy.

Mark,
thank for updating the wiki.
If we run out of caps I'd be happy to give up a few of mine. At the moment I ordered more boards than I need.
