Do note that a letter or document is supossed to contain just paper. If they catch you posr will cost more (ie it has to go as a parcel).

Gerber file for a paste mask will be made available when I order the "production" PCBs - I can bang one out right now for the prototype card, but if I end up making any changes to the card for production it'd make your mask useless.

Slight problem - I completely forgot about the chinese new year. Went to order prototype PCBs last night and china's pretty much shut down right now. Seeed starts processing orders again on the 25th, DirtyPCBs on the 27th... damnit.

Don't want to hold up this project too long, I'm now trying to find a prototype PCB house on this continent with reasonable prices and reasonable shipping costs to canada.

I've used AP circuits plenty of times. $70 each for PCB and test jig w/o silkscreen or soldermask + $25 shipping + 15% HST = ugh.

OSHpark = $5/square inch for 3 cards, so $40/card and $80 USD for the whole project, free shipping. Definitely better than AP. Turnaround time of 12 days though, which barely puts them ahead of waiting for Seeed.

PCBbasket = ~$100 USD upfront engineering charge, but dirt cheap after that and I can get 2oz copper! Not really suitable for prototyping, but I'm really considering using them for production.

PCB4U = best proto price so far, but $80 for shipping to canada? seriously?

The hunt continues... So far I'm thinking seeed studio and paying extra for fast shipping.

I did sent you a PM asking to confirm my order postal rates. I figured out
$8(pcb)*2 + $2(mcu)*2 + $15.80(cdn post regular parcel to L0E1A0) + $3.00 = $38.80
If you change pcb mfg, I am sure the pcb price will change, so I will wait to send payment until you decide on the pcb mfg.
