This is LaMer, a diyer too from China ... I designs some pcbs, also diy together with friends in China and overseas several years.
Following photo was taken days before, as to show a final finished amplifier built from one type named Goldmund MP-150 of those 12 most common circuits.
Plateform means, I try to design 12 different PCB base on 12 different most common circuits in same PCB size and mounting screw holes.
Normally, we know about an amplifier by famouse brands, like as Krell, Goldmount Grymphon, etc. But actually a lot of brands are on same/similar cuicuit framework or structure.
Plateform help us to try different circuits structure or framework easily by changing different amplifier boards. And, importantly, most costs was drawn by case, heat sink, transformer, large capacitors. And this kind of costs were repeated each time as while we try to build a new amplifier machine.
Thus, by plateform, diyer will save a lot of money. And at same time, Plateform diy enable us to free from such as drilling, assembling, wiring and so on works which taking most of time repeatly too.
Following 2 figures with a draft table are to describle which are those 12 different circuits, and how they are displayed as, and including a common design power board with speak protection.

Some friends asked PCB from me by messages. But 2 things confused me always.
- How to send PCB or kits to overseas in low freight? Because overseas express freight is even much more expensive than PCB or kits itself.
- And how to collect payments by less commision? As we don't have PayPal, while PayPal commision costs expensively high.
Does this group buy sectore possible help those problems? i.e. someone in one Europe country wire amount, and collect main parcel, then kindly helps to deliver seperate small packages inside to the other ones in Europe.

Thank you Stillingen. Above page is one part of my little internet store in China, and for diyers in China only, many years.
Because of mentioned 2 confusions, those PCB and kits were not be shipped to overseas directly in those years until now.
Moreover English is another confusion to me. Maybe I'm not too difficult at daily talking in English, but am very short at techinical words and expression.
Whatever I'm working on the pages in English version, at least let ones to know what I diy for and based on. It takes some time pls understand

I think you will find that if you have a nice product (and it looks like you do) that is also reasonably documented in English - people WILL pay a decent price for shipping. The translation probably just needs an afternoon from a bilingual engineer.since most things in our hobby use symbols ans schematics that are universal

Do you think it will be more intuitive and readable? And of course necessary documents will be translated into English after packages be delivered.
And sorry I don't know how to call those circuits in a technical way in English, so the items are marked in "Know as ..." just to show which famous brand using that typical circuit constructure, that's all. Because PCB silk printing are different from the original brand, at least not exactly 100% same. Not simple copies!
And thank you or someone else a lot who can help me on those circuits correct techincal names or expressions in English.Ref. SF or HK post are good via HK to Hongkong, Taiwan. But to further contries, China Post will be more cheap, just takes a bit long time during 20~40 days depending on different destination.
Those taobao prices are for domstic buyers in mainland of China, because commision and express freight is little.
I have paypal too, but as mentioned paypal costs high not only 4.4% per sales value, but also around US$50 commision on each withdrawing. So that's why group buy is necessary to share these expenses. For example, 10 persons each share US$5 grouply, cheaper than 5 persons each share US$10 grouply. If there's any better excutable solution, will be highly appreciately.

This group buy section is not just for buyer/seller share shipping and banking/handling cost, but for DIYer share their interest without making profit, or donate all profit to this website, you are a typical seller in China Taobao who making profit, therefore, will you okay to do no profit business?
DiyAudio is very lenient of people and organisations advertising their services here. For established commercial entities, they should be paying sponsorship. There are others which are semi-commercialised, built up from hobbies which contribute to the DIYAudio community or site in lieu of sponsorship. Some offer good discounts to DIYA members. Some do all three. At this point I don't see any of this.
However, I'd give the guy a chance and see how it pans out.
On a personal level, it is great to see a modular approach to our hobby and I am very interested.

Sorry I know neither much about if you are an administrator or a sponsor of DIYAudio community or site, nor how much you donated, or if you are one of international sellers.
Everyone as a seller in Taobao is not only making profit, and not each one of them takes it as career occupation, including me. For exsample, I started taobao internet shop many years ago, in order to sell out mainly my own repeated hand tools, hammers, screwdriver, wrenches, etc. in lower prices than what I bought. I still keep some of it. If you want some, you can buy it too in that same way no problem.
After that, I started to sell PCB and kits which were designed by myself, due to I bought a lot from other sellers in taobao or other place, with confusions as mentioned above, that leads me to lay PCB by myself in my own way, based on interesting and hobby.
I sells PCB and kits, because each design to be made into PCB, request MOQ normally 20 or 30pcs for each design each lot. I only need one of them, and try to sell out the rest with reasonable profit, if some other diyers like my design, why not?
Sometimes I also shared to friends having same hobby with some small group buys in very low profit (5% or 10%), by a way of package of several kits or PCB. It is not in taobao shop. Do you have any interesting to join us too?
About with / without profit. I prefer to little profit not no profit in goup buy for kits package. But it is hard or possible in retail.
Fortunately, this section is called Group Buy, then same little margin group buy works too, if there are 10 or 20 diyAudiors join in.
Kits packaged helps to lower express freight too. 2 real examples of my international retail sales:
(1) 1 kit cost $18.49, UPS saver to USA takes $20.54.
(2) 1 kit cost $23.60, UPS saver to Japan takes $41.83.
You will find express freight are more or much more than kit costs. Do you think that jokes?
And I know paypal has no commission in HK. And HK post costs little too. If I am able to arrange kits package to diyAudiors in group by, in little profit. In order to benefit more for group-buy diyAudiors, are you possible to help diyAudiors to transfer packages and find a safe way to transit payments in HK?

After this topic post, I'm keeping on looking for a way how to make it a real group-buy not retail.
Now based on PCB and components existing in stock, refer to recent small group buy around some close freinds, it can arrange 8 BASIC KITS package for diyAudiors in way of group-buy, including #600, #610, #611, #615, #635, #675, #693, #850 in mentioned photo list.
These 8 BASIC KITS including (affect sound little generally, and tires one to collect them all for each item):
+ each item 2pcs PCB for stereo sound 2 channels.
NEIG, 2mm board thickness, 2oz copper thickness.
+ resistors, pots.
+ jumpers.
+ small value ceramic capacitors.
+ diods (1n4148), zener diods.
+ connectors & dip-8 scokets.
Excluding (diyer normally has own opinion on these components):
- transistors
- aluminum capacitors
This BASIC KIT package is priced in about USD117, weight <2kg, excluding post cost, because post costs to different countries are different.
China Post is prefer to take transportation, freight costs much lower than express, in range about USD15~30 normally about 20%~35% according to value costs. But China Post is a bit slowly just need patience to waiting about 20~40 days depending countries how far away from China.
10 diyAudiors are expected to join this group-buy, to enable to share additional extra paypal costs USD5 for each one. Or USD10 per one in 5 persons.
On your experience on diyAudio, could you and help to check if it will be a real group-buy idea?

I've had parcels take more than 10 weeks from China, although usually it is much less, about 21 days. Parcels from HK take between 11-21 days. EPS from China and HK and reliable, but are expensive.

From friend's friends' help, I found this logistic company to help mail parcels via HK Post. Do you know about this company? Is it a good?
It takes 3~5 days from Ningbo (my place) to HK. Than 7~15 days from HK to final destinations. Totally about 10~20 days takes, maybe a bit longer depending on variously.
Vendor's Bazaar seems a retail place, can have a try later after new logistic and payment way found better and cheaper than HK Post & PayPal.
My taobao store address can be check on LaMer Audio Works in Taobao. And this platform diy way description was post in floor 1, as it is in Chinese which was complained by Liliya and casey197, so I made a new easy understandable photo list in English to instead it.

Information in English would be easier to understand for most visitors to this website. Google translate works and gives 75-90% of the Chinese text as the reader would be familiar with the subject matter. In fact it'll be a good tool for use to make the English version as it'll speed up the translation for you too.

I am nobody buy just a DIYer, I never sell and just only buy, no need to explain to me, start your sale and if you make noise, selling good, but without sponsors, then you may know, I know Taobao seller just making very limited profit for interest, not for living, I did bought from you in Taobao, and I am a 3 diamonds Taobao buyer, I am just try to warn you, since years ago I am just sharing a kit from Taobao, I received a bunch of attack from some administrators (?) and some sponsor sellers, some even PM me to advice me making sponsor will be fine, I don't know if the rules now have any changes, but then I stopped sharing in this website for years, only surfing the group buy section, to see anything interesting, anyway, good luck.

But claim or warnning to me is inadequately, by indecent attacks you've got from the other sellers.
