It is actually one of the polarity symbols for the large power supply caps...just not in the correct place.

Hi, can I use R11-20k resistor instead of 10k? I forgot to order it and only this part is blocking me to finish boards.

That is only for mute upon startup isn't it? Btw 2 stacked would be 10k

Default Power supply for dual mono

I have been using 120va toroid (2 @ 15v windings 4A each) for single stereo TPA3116 boards and this has worked well. I get 21v at the amp.

Using 2 of Doug's boards making a stereo pair do you think the power demand goes up to any degree? I mean at the speaker it would still be the same demand per channel even tho 2 chips now supply the power. My thinking is this is still an adequate transformer but would appreciate some opinions.

A single 5A or 6A 12V brick seems enough for stereo board, it is insufficient for my PBTL's, bass output gets limited, but maybe that's load???????

afoor, randytsuch, col_s, ChrisMmm

Your boards (and ic's) were mailed out on Friday.

I am almost finished the test bed and then can get out some others that are waiting for testing.

Hi there Doug,

Is it too late to get two boards with soldered TPA chips?

Thanks,
Chris

Not too late.

I am slowly clearing orders so it might be a little while (a few weeks) before I get to you.

If you can wait I will put you on the list.

Did you want the boards separate or joined at the ground plane? ( labeled as 1 pair)

Doug

Awesome!

I'll take one joined ground plane pair, with soldered ICs + a kit for each.

I believe that's $94CDN excluding shipping. In a few weeks I'll be back in London.

Could you point me towards a post with the parts list in the kit?

Thanks Doug!
