Yes, if you want to switch between s/pdif sources and I2S source, you have to use the s/pdif interface board together with the new updated V3.80 FIFO board. FIFO inputs I2S signal and outputs async I2S signal generated by new clock.

Description​

First of all, I’d like to express my thanks to all of the GB I user for your bravely taking the challenge to experience the new concept of digital audio. Your success built the foundation of this group buy II.​

I promised opening GB II three months ago and it seems now it’s the time to run.​

I’m trying to keep all the pricing as same as GB I, but the including items may have a bit change. ​

I’ll not supply the rubber rings this time because I still couldn’t find those with the suitable size.​

Another thing is the 3.9% Paypel fee was too much for me. I’m afraid I have to ask you kindly sharing half of the Paypel fee with me which would be 1.95% of the total payment.​

Selection guide​

1.If you just stick with one Fs I2S source and do not change it often, for example, 44.1 KHz I2S from a CD player, then the I2S FIFO KIT is working for you without any problem. You don’t need other two boards. With both 256*Fs and 512*Fs default MCLK frequency available,FIFO FW V3.80 provides more options for this selection. One XO frequency can run two Fs, and one Fs can use two XO frequencies.​

2.If you Fs will change often or album by album, for example, I2S from a USB, then you will need the Dual XO Clock Board working together with the FIFO.​

3.If you need including the S/PDIF input and output functions or you want to setup a S/PDIF FIFO, or you need switching input between S/PDIF sources and optional I2S source, then the S/PDIF Interface Board would be your choice. ​

4.With the FIFO FW V3.80 and the I2S backdoor KIT, you can include an additional I2S input source from the S/PDIF Interface Board.​

Delivery and shipping​

Delivery via Canada Post regular air mail without a tracking number. Will be in a 20x12x6.5cm box, around 0.5Kg ​

For 1 to 8 items, the shipping will be​

Within Canada $8- USD
To USA $11- USD
For rest of international area $21- USD​

I never have problem with Canada Post regular air mail so far. But please let me know if you really need a tracking number, I’ll quote for you from the post office. It may double the shipping to the international area.​

How to buy​

1.First, please register here in this thread by updating the waiting list (down if you already registered, but please confirm). ​

2.Then, to keep your privacy, please download the empty GBII order form (GB2OrderformEmpty.zip, excel format, pdf format just for reference) at bottom of this post, full in all the necessary information in blue section by excel, rename the file name staring by your order number on the waiting list and following by your Diyaudio ID(for example 23_iancanada.xls), send the finished excel order form file back to my email box: iancanada.mail@gmail.com​

Following information are required in the order form:​

- Your diyAudio ID
- Your PayPal account (usually an email address)
- Your email (if it is possible, use the same email as Paypal)
- Items and quantity you want to buy
- Shipping address (if it is possible, use the same as Paypal)​

Please double check and make sure the shipping address is correct and with a postcode, otherwise it may result in losing of the parcel.​

3. Once the items are ready for delivery, you will receive a conformed invoice based on your order from my email box with my PayPal account.​

4. Making payment. PayPal only​

5. KIT will be shipped within 7 days after getting the payment.​

6. Confirm with me after you get the KIT.


I ordered 50 KITs for GB II, so it seems I have enought to supply this time. So now, the GB II is still open. New registers are welcome.
