Nope digital out via windows will not let you controll bass or treble it just outputs what you feed it, you can use the EQ in programs but i always find that it makes everything sound like sh!t

To be honest i have no clue on the curves of that Indeed thing, its an ebay hybrid tube amp (tube preamp) changes some fets and caps on it and rolled some tubes, it sounded pretty good with my Sennheiser, but the O2 definitely has a LOT more details.

The only thing that comes to my mind otherwise about bass response is Damping Factor - I don't know anything about how this relates to headphone amps, so I've taken this over to the main thread at The Objective2 (O2) Headphone Amp DIY Project to get some input from more people.

Just want to publicly report that my purchase from greenalien was impressively fast and hassle free. I ordered on Friday and the package arrived on Tuesday, all the way to New Zealand. I won't be building it for a week or so, but I'll update when I do.

OK, we're now at the half-way point - 5 kits sold and shipped, 3 are immediately available.

I've lent a couple of the cases to a friend, so the final 2 kits won't be available until I get the replacement cases, due in a couple of weeks.

Latest update - another kit sold and shipped, 2 still available now, 2 more (hopefully) available at the end of the month.
