Since Plitron requires a minimum $250 order, I am looking for someone to go in on an order with me. I'm ordering approx $150 worth of transformers from them and only need to get over the $250 mark.
I live in Winnipeg, Canada, and would require anyone interested to also be in Canada. I guess the easiest way to do this (unless someone has a better idea) is to have the order shipped to me, and then I could ship the other transformers off to the other person. Send me a PM/reply if you're interested? |

I did a series for AX on cleaning up AC line problems. The final version used a Plitron 20A isolation transformer. There were their transformers used in a number of the other circuits. They wrote a nasty letter to the editor about a picture of one of the circuits that used another manufacturer's transformer purchased as surplus RFE. They also misquoted text and withdrew their support for the magazine. Worse yet they showed an actual lack of engineering understanding of their products.
Since then I have not used any of their transformers. If you need recommendations on lower cost better performing products, just let me know what you need. |

Forget Plitron and buy ANTEK!! MUCH cheaper and GOOD quality. Buy the "AS" versions. Go to antek.com
