I have used Antek with success. Unfortunately the size (diameter) I am looking for-they do not have. I need a 4" max dia: 17-0-17 or 18-0-18, 120VA (or bigger VA) Plitron on the other hand lists one -

Power Transformers Specs | Plitron

any other source that may have such?

I posted results on noise reduction techniques for power supplies here:
John Curl's Blowtorch preamplifier part II

Note that the dual winding dual bridge technique requires that the current load is balanced. Also that I used a toroidal transformer as they pass more noise than EI cores. Split bobbin EI cores are better than when the secondary is wound on top of the primary.

Can you please stop doing this?
If I want to buy a plitron, then I will buy a plitron. If you don't like it, too bad!

It's like saying: i want an HTC smartphone, anyone else wants in on a group buy?
your answer: buy samsung...
I mean... wtf, no! i want a ******* plitron trafo and NOT an antek, so shove this antek somewhere where the sun doesn't shine!

If you have a problem with that, then just try... to stfu

its true the antek AS series are good, but what amounts to shilling in a GB thread is not cool at all. they may be good, but imo they dont really have anything on either Plitron, or sumR, which are at least on par for less money. but if the OP wants Plitron, the OP wants plitron and chances are its because he wants to be able to specify particular aspects of the transformer. perhaps center potted?
