I have attached a few photos of the DD11 IEC connector. I really only like it when it is mounted on the inside. When mounted on the outside it does not look very high-end'ish......
Patrick, please verify if DD11 is an option at all. When mounted on the inside (hoping there are no brackets in this zone🙂) it will be deep close to 36 mm. With an angular 4.8x0.5 mm FASTON crimp connector (Farnell: 488379) another 5-7 mm is required in depth bringing us to say 45 mm at max...
If mounted outside this will be 5.5 mm less (say 40 mm at max).

While testing the fit of an IEC cord into the DD11, I was so incredibly dumb to place the connector in the palm of my hand and plugging in a live cord :yikes::cuss:
Thanks to a modern mains system, I was probably only exposed to these truly stunning 50 Hz for a tenths of a second..... The comment of my wife: now we have to reset the watches🙁

I'm also very inclined to go for the powerCON. There seems to be only few degrees of freedom for the integrated IEC solutions and I recall that the powerCON interface was made to improve on the IEC standard. Gets also my vote to in the end.
For the switch and fuse holders I fine with everything of good quality and feel.
I would go for "reasonable best", rather than "cheapest acceptable".

I would prefer an excellent quality IEC,
but I do think powerCon are of a great quality, no argument from me here, and I’d still be happy with one too (even the ugly blue colour and all :beady:)

I personally thinks that PowerCon would be a better choice if you are going to separate fuse and switch anyhow.
It is actually easier for us if you choose integrated IEC.

One thing to bear in mind with PowerCon :

You HAVE TO remove the mains plug first before you can engage or disengage the PowerCon at the amp.
It is not designed to plug in & out while still "hot".

But that should never present a problem.

Also whatever you suggest, please make sure it is easily available for all.

I think at least Nic seems to have another preference now than what the spreadsheet is showing
Preferences changes with options and for me basically everything I have seen is fine (as long as it is in line with the high quality of the rest of the build). I have signed up for "whatever" in the spread sheet. Take it as a 'blank" vote rather than disinterest.

Ok, I am switching my vote to "IEC" as it doesn't matter to me if its an integrated or a nicer separate solution like the Furutech that John suggested. Again, this is my preference, but if the majority want the PowerCon (I really dislike the bright blue color though), I am fine with that to.
