Just FYI, EBay seller Tzeng_Albert has been selling the 0R47 and 0R22 MPC74s for $5.99/12 units shipped (i.e. ~$0.5/piece) for ages now. It's possible that this is a portion of the original Nova Elektronik hoard - Nova seems to have run out of MPC74s now.

I had read about that earlier, but the sellers appear to be in different countries. FWIW, Fukushima Futaba has a Taiwan plant, and the EBay seller I mentioned ships from Taiwan. I've ordered, tested and used the resistors with no issues whatsoever - they're non-magnetic metal-plate resistors of exactly the same dimensions as found in the Futaba MPC74 datasheets. The casing is ceramic, as per spec.
