the F1 was the new F1J version with the Semisouth R100 Nelson offered the last month as a revision.

Maybe worth a try again, the 7 Watt of F1J on my 4 Ohm 87 db speaker sound in my chain in most aspects better than BA-1!

What sort of volume are you getting with that speaker/F-1J combination?

I get from the 7 Watt the loudness I am used to in my small room (12 squaremeters), I am very astonished.
