For my F5 amp power supply I need at least 8 caps of 15.000uF@40V. I would like to use Evox Rifa but they seem hard to find. Audiocap in the UK sells Rifa but does not have the above value in stock. He can order them but the minimun order quantity with Evox is 98 pcs so wants to be sure to sell at least half of the moq. The offer is now:
- 48 pcs commited : GBP 11.05 (ex VAT) / GBP 12.99 (incl VAT) - 60 pcs commited : GBP 9.99 (ex VAT / GBP 11.74 (incl VAT) The exact cap label :PEH169KH5150QU2 15000uF 40V 105C So this is not an real GB, more a way to try to convince audiocap to stock a product. The caps will be ordered at audiocap on a personal account. Let me know if there is interest. Thanks, Jeroen |

Farnell also appear to stock the rifa. But their site is under maintenance tonight. Last edited by brianco; 21st January 2010 at 08:23 PM. |

what about 0,33 mF or 0,47 mF - I think It Is better to use just two big caps Instead of 4 for rail - less space less expensive

For me the most interesting PEH169:
PEH169KV6100Q-- 105°C 40VDC 100000uF The PEH169 seems to be a non-compromise-solution, so why not take one of the really big ones. I would take 4 of them.

I also think you could be happy with like 47.000uF or even 33.000uF if you get 8.
