[QUOTE=dvb-projekt;
have you adjust the heater voltage to 6,3V at the measuring point on the left side from the heaterswitch?[/QUOTE]

Hi Oliver,

I used it at 12.6V maybe that is the reason why. I'll adjust it to 6.3V and will try if that will fix the problem.
Thanks,

Joe

So the heaters runs at 200%... I hope you dont damaged your tubes.

If you still have these pops, try to change the tubes to new ones.

Best,
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

The tubes are still working. I will find out tommorow if it will make the loud pop. I'll be recieving the 6n6p soon and I might stick to that due to low gain.
Right now I don't have the switch or jumper, once I replace the tube with 6N6P, do I need to put the jumper on the 6N2P trace side or just leave it open?
Thanks for your help.

Joe

Hi Joe,

if you use the 6N6P you must close the jumper (switch set to 6N2P)!

Best,
Oliver

Hi Oliver, are you going to have more boards soon? By the way, would it be possible to make the tube socket holes a bit larger for the sockets with larger leads? Thanks!

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for the PCB.

How crucial is the voltage rating on the capacitors in tha anode supply?
Can i use capacitors rated 385 V or 400 V in the 220uf/450V spot?

What about the output capacitors? is 250 V sufficient?

Thanks again,

Pilsern

Hi Pilsern,

i would recommend around 2* B+ (under normal load) for the output caps.
Same to the caps in the anode supply. Than youre on the absolute save side.

Regards,
Oliver

Thanks.
Srinath.
