I just have looked in the Silonex Data.pdf for the NSL-32SR2.

The anode lead is 0.25x0.51 mm, the cathode lead is 0.25x0.64 mm and the cell leads are 0.45-0.56 mm.

I´ve made the holes for the anode/cathode side 0.4 mm diameter and the cell holes 0.6 mm diameter.

That´s the problem point.... So if i see that right, you have only a problem on one side to insert the leads, correct?

Yes Oliver, just the one side (the shorter leads). I hope to test the board later today or tomorrow and will post again.

Rob.

OK Rob.

I will incorporate this to the "Round 2" boards!

Regards,
Oliver

Thank you for offering this board, it will make my build of the lightspeed attenuator easier and better. I just ordered the parts for this board, and I want to share the part numbers for US suppliers, since it took me a little while to get this together (especially the Wago terminals). I am not positive that the potentiometer that I selected is the best choice for the job (or the other parts), so feel free to criticize my parts selection.

I'm looking forward to getting my lightspeed up and running with my Pass B1. Thanks again for offering the board and saving me having to build it up on perf board.

We've been told that LDR's are thermally sensitive especially while soldering.
Using terminal blocks rather than soldering LDRs seems to be a good way to go.
Could you place an alternative on the board for this use ?
Cheers

Oliver. Got my board working, but not without a little head scratching. The board suggests that the terminal posts for IN & OUT L & R go in the set of holes nearest the edge of the board. I did this and got no sound at all. Looking at the board again see that there are 4 holes and there are more tracks to those holes. This was after about an hour of checking all connections and tracing the tracks on the board etc etc. Joining each set in parallel gave me sound!! A pointer for other builders

Thatīs right!
The Wago Terminals does this internally, but a good suggestion.
