I got my transformer today. I'm excited my amp is coming together a piece at a time. Thanks much for the effort Carl.

Glad to hear that the transformers are landing ok. As expensive as they are, I wanted to be sure they arrived without damage. Hence the extra careful packing.
I am anxious to see people's builds. |

Mine came in today as well, I was surprised thought the mail man was on holiday. Thanks for putting this together, now I just need some heat sinks.

Bill, I have some extra heatsinks. Posted here for PICS, and listed in trade area. http://picasaweb.google.com/notcoppe...pareHeatsinks# They are not perfect for fitting L-Channel or fets dead center, but they don't run too The Plitrons are about 1/3 less size or so then the Anteks, FWIW. Will be able to be tidier than Antek's or R-Core in chassis. Mike T(ea-bag) |

Hey Carl,
My transformer came in the other day. I'd like to add my thanks both for putting this together so quickly, and also for packing the items so well. Yes expensive indeed, but they arrived in great shape. A true gentleman. I hope to use it soon, but there is a lot of other stuff in the way. Pretty satisfyingly heavy, though, as a paperweight for now. Collin |

I'm considering building mono block F5s instead of stereo. Does anyone have an extra transformer they aren't going to use?

Same here, should we start round to on a mini GB for these trannies? I'm in for one, anyone else state side open to it? These would be for an F5 build or whatever else uses it.
