Nelson has approved a GB for his balanced F1 transconductance amplifier.
Please review the Design Thread to help verify the design and provide comments for improvements before the GB closes. The GB will close on December 31st 2008, when the boards will be ordered. To sign up, please add your name to the F1 GB Wiki . I'll only pull names from the Wiki and not the forum pages. The wiki will contain all ordering information. For now, register on the wiki and I'll provide payment details later on how to pay via PayPal only. -David |

Pretty good, we are up to 22 boards in half a day.
Please feel free to ask questions about the GB here, and provide comments about the design on the pass forum. -David |

The PSU is the same as the F3 & F5. Peter Daniel has a GB underway and he's offering PSU boards pretty cheap. I did not see the need to duplicate the effort for PSU boards.

Great looking board, I am in for 4. One suggestion though: Can you space three of the transistors to match the spacing of one edge of Peter Daniels F4 board? I hate drilling, tapping and buying heat sinks, this way one could just drill and tap a couple of new holes, and swap the boards on the same heat sink/chassis that they use with their F4, which is also compatible with the spacing of Peter's new F5 board. Just an idea.
Thanks JimS |
