The BHC is a real four pole; unlike the Jensen the output leads are in the centre of the foils, rather than the far end. This gives it a lower ESR at the output side, but reduces the high frequency attenuation, I guess by at most a factor of two."

jensen better for pre and T for power ......

That's true, the intrinsic attenuation filter is better on Jensen, and it will provide more HF isolation, but the series resistance is higher than the one in BHC 4-pole capacitor.
I don't agree with the statement that Jansen is only good for preamps. One could use more of them in parallel for lower DC series resistance - hence suitable for high power amps.

Let say, I need 100,000uF per rail, but my pocket book simply doesn't allow me to buy 20 of these. Can I still get the benefit if I use only one of these per rail? If so, should the cap be the one right after the rectifier or the last in a CRC?

First after the rectifier. I think is no need for CRC with any 4-pole caps, because of intrinsic RLC filter

I dont see this ! only better !!

the equivalent mundorf HC are interesting for pwamp.....

I dont like the 10k format , too much for pre too low for pw(// cost a lot)
