Pull current?
I remember (sort of) some gainclone like mod to make more like F1-F2.

How about 10 ohms?

Naah, what you really need is a spiffy amp like this ZenV9, set up as a current source amp. It does wonders for the Abby's, and one have to admit that they sound pretty enjoyable with that amp. This is my ZenV9 on Peters boards (It is still not a F3, no matter what you guys keep calling it )

Even better with the correct // filter attached. Seen here dangling at the back of the poor Abby. The filter brings extended bottomend (really needed!) and smooth out the harsh midrange (also needed!) Subjectively I think it extends the topend a bit too.

Steenoe,

How are those heatsinks holding up? I have similar size, except the fins on mine are vertical.

Thanks,

Vince

PS, got my boards, thanks.

F5 and PS boards arrived today. Very nice! Really should have bought a few more. Thanks for running the GB!

Have ya'll ever seen a grown man cry?

I'm getting close...no sign of my boards yet. Should be today or tomorrow. The local postal employees are probably admiring them..

If yours have vertical fins, they will do fine. Mine are getting a bit hot, so I will have to figure out a way to increase the ventilation a little.

I'm curious myself if you can get away with those heatsinks. They seem a bit small. I even wonder if they'll run cool enough if you turned them vertical.
