Hello
I would like to ask for some help. I want to build a all J-Fet preamp design by Borbely audio which uses J510 or J511 regulator . Unfortunately these parts are no longer available . any decent jfet + trim pot
hardly that you'll need 50V breakdown voltage for that , so any 25-30V jfet will be good say BF245C

Thanks for your help ! Can you explain how I use J-Fet and trim pot instead that 2 legged IC . I have 2SK264BL or 103BL or 2SJ74BL,GR or 2SK170BL,GR. I would like to ask you for a little help more . I only understand electronic stuff in a schematic . Can you help me with these . I ordered some 2SK389V . Only problem to me these regulator . I do not want to give up on these project because that regulator !!! For power supply I will use the +/-36V .I have a toroid 2x25V. Thanks for your help . Greetings |

Hello Choky
Thanks for your advise and help. I posted the website at my first post were I ask for help . If you open the site and take a look Figure 17. That is the pre I would like to build next to my Aleph 1.7 preamp. I'd like the design a lot because all Jet preamp . Unfortunately I'm unable to take the schematic and post here that is why I posted all the writings etc . One more time , thanks for your help. Greetings |
