design goal for the last 20 years has been to recreate a simulation of a live musical event.

Not satisfied with conventional technology that he felt had been exhausted,
AVS's recent research indicated that more realistic sound quality c
ould be obtained by replicating an acoustic inversion of the microphone's signal.

After all, it is the microphone's signal which is recorded, not music itself.

Our flagship VR-11SE is a large speaker by anyone's standards,
being over seven feet tall and weighing about 900 pounds per side.
Using four 1,000-watt subwoofer amplifiers and 24 drivers per system, it is easy to see why many audio critics have called the VR-11SE "the best speaker in the world", with a bandwidth of 10 Hz to 100 kHz, incredibly low distortion, and 99dB sensitivity. Many of our customers wanted this type of sound in their studios and living rooms, but needed a smaller version that would accommodate space limitations for both acoustics and aesthetics.

Our response was to develop the VR-9SE.
The VR-9SE has the same bandwidth and transparency of the larger sibling,
but in a smaller and very attractive package.

i am surprised only poor people here in diy audio
ought to be some rich ones, too
even some ones way above normal conditions of living
at least judging how many Academically educated Engineers we see posting

for them and me would be no big thing getting good von Schweikert speakers

Can we get 100 pieces ( 50 stereo setup )
then may be getting very low price.

I will personally test listen to some of these von Schweikert
and also have a closer look at drivers.
Just to make sure is no fakes!!!!

Given the markup in their products I would assume you could get them for much less...witness the Unifield 3's for $15,000 with about $1500 in parts.

How about a group buy for the clone drivers, this is a DIY forum after all....
