Just for info, I was quoted the following for the SOIC 8 pieces back in March:
MOQ25 = GBP 2.35 100 = GBP 2.10 1000 = GBP 1.60 Plus GBP 15 postage plus 17.5% Tax The TO-71 was between GBP 3.45 and 3.63 at MOQ. Your prices look better than ours here in the UK! I started work on an adapter board, but quickly got beached out of my skill puddle. If there is demand, I could have another go.... Cheers Jon |

I'll help out Roger and take 100 LSK170 in SOIC
and 10 LSK389. Are the Idss grades still open for choice? The middle or high would both be OK.For those who care Quan-Tech data for recent samples: 2SK170 @1mA, gm - 11.3mS, noise @10Hz 2.5nV LSK170 @1mA, gm - 10mS, noise @10Hz 2.3nV

any ideas why Linear are charging more for the low Idss version (Agrade) than the higher Idss grades?
More difficult/time consuming to make, or higher rejects, or lower yields?

Probably just yield/demand balancing.
