Default Simple DCX2496 analog output boards

I've just made some very simple analog output boards based on Jan Didden's design, but without the muting and on-board DC blocking caps, and figured some of you might want to join in.

Each board is for two channels, and 2" wide so you can fit three side-by-side for all six channels. The boards are 1.5" deep, and board depth and solder pads gives a nice fit to RM27.5 x 13mm DC blocking caps. The 12-pin header is there simply because I have a lot of them, in addition to giving the proper spacing for 13mm caps if you want them. Because of the multi-board configuration you can't use a single ribbon cable, but you're much better off using a good interconnect soldered to separate pin sockets anyways.

The only change I've made to the circuit is that I've divided the phase-to-ground resistors (R5 and R6 in Jan's schematics) in two, to make attenuation adjustment more flexible. If you only want one resistor, which is the case for most of you, the total pin spacing is the same as the other horizontal resistors.

The single board size means three boards fit on one 10sqin board over at OurPCB, so as long as we go for ten sets or more, they're only $4 per set plus shipping and handling.

Edit: I think this board will fit equally well on the DEQ2496, except it only uses one of them.

Default Schematics

Here are the schematics, too, as the resistor names are different from Jan's schematics. R1+R2 replace Jan's R5, R7+R8 replace R6. Values are dicussed in Jan's article, so I haven't added them here.
