Just wanna thank ex007 for the components!
They arrived a couple of days ago and though it is a lot for me to solder I can't wait to dig in to the pile and burn away! |

ppcblaster, You don't have to email that. 1. First of all register on Mouser. 2. Go to "My Mouser": My Mouser 3. Go to the "BOM importer tool" (on the bottom left): Go To BOM Import Tool 4. Paste the given BOM. This will add everything to the cart. I also made a full BOM basket to Farnell including the screws, insulators, heat sink. It still misses the mica washers for the TO220 (how do you find these...?). |

Nope, not yet.
Farnel is more expensive than digikey/mouser overall; something like ~70 pounds ~ 140$ (including heatsink, LM4780, washers.). It can be cheaper if you buy more than one kit as some parts you need to order in quantities of 5 or 10. |

See Pavel's manual & BOM for recommended vendors:
Resistors: Vishay Draloric. Caps: Kendeil or Chemicon. Attached is Farnel's basket not including resistors: |
