Hi forum.
I'm extremely new to the HT scene. I'm attempting to help a friend put a system together but I only focus on 2 channels so I have what is likely a daft question. What's the point of composite/s-video/component connections on a HT receiver? What does an amp do for images?? Or is it a sync thing? Thanks in advance p.s I searched but had no idea what criteria to search for. |

so you can switch between different sources with one button, when you select " DVD " for example, it will switch the amp to dvd audio in, and will pass the dvd video to the video output. Also some recievers up-convert compsite and svideo to component output, so you can connect everything using component out on the reciever, and get the maximum quality possible.
