I am attempting to hook up a TVBOX 1280 up to a LCD panel (NView Spectra C). I plan on building a DIY projector in the future. I cannot get the TVBOX to work. Here is my setup:
DVD Player S-Video out to S-Video in on the TVBOX. I also tried the composite output with the same result. I have pushed every button on the TVBOX (according to the weak instructions included), but nothing happens. The blue NVIEW splash screen dosen't change. When I hook the LCD panel up to my computer directly it plays the movie fine through the desktop DVD player (after setting the resolution to 640x480). Does anyone any experience with these types of scan converters? UPDATE: I just hooked up the box to my flat panel monitor and changed the display resolution to 640x480. I then plugged the TVBOX into my LCD projection panel. I can now get the on screen display but there are large horizontal black bars going form the top to the bottom of the screen. I have set the input to match what I am using on the DVD player. |
