Hello:
I have a new build, 6 months old. I have been trying to stream HD video from the Met Opera site. I get perfect results for about 10 minutes then the audio drops out and continues to do so every couple of minutes or so... Here is my system: Download bandwidth: 5.5 Mbps ADSL Operating system Windows XP SP3 CPU: AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.71 GHz, 2.00 GB RAM Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 5770 850 MHZ 1GB 4.85 GHZ GDDR5 Browser: Firefox 3.5.5 Flash version: 10.0.32.18 Zone Alarm firewall AVG virus software anyone have any ideas how I can improve the performance? I have since discovered that this is a known problem with the Metropolitan Opera streaming service, something to do with codecs...no workaround found yet...
