Here is a test for loop sensitivity. Using the magnet (or toroid), induce wide bandwidth time varying flux through the ground loop. Then find out where it is coupling into the audio stream. Do not do this with a speaker as the load, you may be sorry. Also, even without the flux source, if you drive music and see current in the monitoring sensing toroid, your amp is generating loop current.
