This is the internal view of the Teralink X2 before my modifications.
It has two voltage lines. A +5V line for the TCXO and all ICīs expect the Tenor chip, witch get itīs separate 3.3V from the small voltage regulator (+5V to +3.3V) in the lower right corner. You could power the X2 with the USB +5V power or with a separate wall wart supply. For the latter, there is a LT1084 voltage reg. onboard,witch is buffered by three 180ĩF Sanyo OS-Con SP caps. |
